car in good working condition. It was made in
Detroit, Mich. by Dodge Bros.
This car was displayed
in a showroom and was bought by a man from Poplar
Point. He had a son who was very enthusiastic when it
came to speed and at one time raced this car against a
motorcycle. However, this ended in disaster as it
took the life of the cyclist and the car was no longer
used. Mr. Norman Burton of Franklin, MB., bought the
car for parts but it stayed in his shed until he sold
it to Mr. Clarkson in 1968.
